The quality of their pins makes them the only brand many professional locksmiths will use. I have keyed tens of thousands of locks in the past 30 years using a version of this kit.
The keying kit contains color coded pins in .003" increments, allowing you to make minor adjustments in size to accommodate worn or poorly cut duplicate keys and worn cylinders. There is a full range of both bottom and master pins to fit all the major lock brands using standard .115" diameter pins. The .003" bottom pins feature a crowned top, instead of a flat edge, like many .005" increment pins. This allows for smoother turning in rounded lock cylinders, reducing wear and extending the life of the lock and pins. The pins are made in the USA of a high quality brass.
